For the record I just went ahead and spliced and soldered. Kept the original harness intact and switching them, I'm assuming, will be as simple as unplugging the IAT and plugging in the MAF.

I'm not near my car right now but I just spliced and soldered the two IAT wires into the corresponding color coded wires in the MAF loom (#1 & #3) without cutting either wire.

We currently have a 3 week lead time on the airbox due to demand.
