Well, picked up the car day before yesterday, very late.. had to rush off to Shanghai very early the next day.. so no pics...
Little bit anoyed though.. the team leader was busy with another car and I turned up with the new windscreen rubber.. he gave the rubber to some lacky sweeping the floor and said install this... did not go well.. he stuffed up the rubber and scratched the new paint on the roof.. npt happy and I blew my top man.. the team leader says it will buff out, and I hope hes right.. now have to buy another new window rubber... bloody hell.. was pretty angry.. have to take the car back there after I get back tomorrow to get a few things sorted.. pics to follow... |

Chris i hear ya.. I've got the support pads for the wing, however, i think they are too wide and big, and take away from the look of the coupe.. so have decided to …trim them down a little… ill do that today and then get a few pics up.. minus the side cards as they are not completed yet….

On mine the nuts are behind that bracket that goes all the way across inside the hatch.

yup, same as mine Ian, boy its a nightmare.. but patience is a virtue. In the end i did not use the pads, I just used compressible sticky tape foam on the back of the bracket. and the finish is great. On the back side i used an 1.5 inch plate before putting on the nut.

Introducing….
Just a few quick phone camera shots.. DSLR is recharging atm, and only finished the cards this morning.. so without further a due.. and finally.. ***Takes bow*** Thanks for coming along for the ride guys, all your input was very much appreciated and gave me lots of ideas and things to think about. I hope you guys like what we did here and once again, your feedback made all the difference.. Note: front licence plate obviously not installed and /WILL/ result in a fine if seen.. i am still thinking about options for the plate mount as i don't really want to drill into my nice new bumper.. also ///M badges still need to go back on.. Credit goes to the guy that painted my car, Ron for the Wing (many thanks again Ron ) and supports, My Missus for giving me the days required to put it all together and my kids for continuously calling it a "Racing" car, and thus inspiring me So, has it been worth the journey? please let me know what you think. much appreciated and thanks again.. Vanne ~

Your MZ4 looks insane now Vanne. Track ready Z! Every color choice overall is giving it a nice aggressive look. Some inside engine bay pics too would be nice, did you install your carbon intake? You have come a long way and made some nice upgrades very quick this year. Thanks for sharing.
