Coding for Alarm
I coded my alarm last night and everything seems to be working well.
By default in the E85, the clown nose and arm chirp are disabled. For those without an alarm, change option "DWA" to "aktiv" in NCS Expert and your clown nose will blink. When you add option $302 for the alarm to the vehicle order (VO), DWA gets turned automatically. I also turned on comfort closing to put the top up from the key and a few other things while I was in there. Coding is actually quite easy on the E85 compared to my F10 with the hardest part being getting the software installed correctly on your PC. If anyone in the Boston area needs help getting your alarm working, shoot me a PM Last edited by ferrarif1; 01-17-2014 at 01:03 PM.. |

Hey guys,
My dealer is having a hard time getting my alarm to chirp consistently when locking the car (it double chirps properly on unlock, but intermittently on locking). He tells me he is getting an error message associated with the motion sensor, which was not included with my kit. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Maybe disable it using SSS/Progman?
I noticed the first time I used Progman that mine was disabled. I decided it was a good idea since I live on a hillside in earthquake country.
