Dust at bottom of speedo/tach?
Roadster - dust everywhere after a few Texas drives!
Noticed I have dust at the bottom of the speedo/tach cluster behind the plexiglass. Anyone have an idea of how to vac that out? I'm picking up a bottle of keyboard air spray to see if I can even just blow it out, but anyone have any ideas?

You can remove the cluster and then some screws on the baxk side and remove the guts to clean behind the clear plastic

You can, but I'd recommend disconnecting the battery first and waiting a few minutes just to be sure. See this thread for details on DIY and reasons for my battery comment.

Thanks! I searched and didn't find that at all. Seems I used speedo and tach and not gauges in the search. I'll give it a good try.

The cluster itself is easy to remove, just one screw. The tricky part is opening the cluster to clean the plexiglass. I found DIY's that show torx screws holding it together but I found mine did not have these and there was NO way to completely open it. I had to carefully spread it open and clean it with a long Q TIP dipped in windex.
Be very careful not to move or touch the gauge needles, that can cause a whole new batch of problems.
