My hellrot Coupe

Thought it was for the best to make a proper thread for my Coupe that I can post new updates in, in stead of making new threads every time.

First of all some history:

April 2010 I was in shopping mode for a new BMW. I had my E46 for 9 years and it was time for a new one.
This was my first BMW. (Had it from 2001 to 2011)

Was looking for an E92 325i but didnt find any I liked here in Norway, so I expanded my search to Germany. I imported my E46 from Germany too, so I knew what to do.
Apparently there were nothing interesting in Germany either. So I just searched for fun on other BMWs.

There it was! I was in love in a blink of an eye! Stood there red and shiny at Autohaus Fink GmbH. Had only 19k km on the odometer

One month later it was standing outside with norwegian plates on and in my ownership.

Then the "mod ball" started rolling....

Swapping wheels:

Needed more low:

Bits and pieces were ordered and installed:

Shortly after I bought it I startet joining track days. So I thought I needed som dedicated wheels.

Found out later on that my Michelin PSS were way good enough for track days. The lack in performance is behind the steering wheel :P

Im washing and detailing the hell out of it.

Making brake ducts:

Trying to make it better on the track

And of course enjoying the track days :driving:

And I just have to have this pic along. Im waaaaay back there somewhere

So this is a (rather long) summary of 4 years of owning a Z4 Coupe. I love it!

Enjoy

Thanks guys

I've also installed Intravee II iPod adapter. Love this thing. So easy to operate.

And since I got the roof wrapped I found some used mirrors from a M Coupe that I'm painting Jet black.

Can also mention my other BMW. My daily driver, "The Grey Grocery Getter"
It's mean and extremely powerful... errh... not... it's a 318i

Exterior went from this:

To this:

Interior from this:

To this:

Both rides:

Just a little update.

Sold my E91 DD and bought a 2013 MINI Paceman Cooper. Cool car and fun to drive

After this pic (the day I picked it up) I have lowered it with H&R springs, installed mud flaps and tinted the front side windows. Also found some brand new 19" AC Schnitzer Type IIs one piece on Ebay that is going on this.

Finally got to take my Coupe for a proper wash today after it has been standing unused for 3 weeks. Man that car is so fun! Im never going to sell it!

Well, no special updates since the Z4 is currently stored away for the winter. Hope to drive it a little more this season.

DSC_2560 by mr.stream77, on Flickr

Only thing Ive done so far this year is new leather with red seam on the armrest and E-brake.

The two other things in the picture is covers for the door handles for my MINI.
Summer wheels are ready and eagerly waiting for the spring. Just had them testfitted to see how they fit.

The wheels are original AC Schnitzer Type II's that I found brand new and unused on Ebay. Made for 3-series so they will also fit the Z4
But due to other moneypits I have to put new wheels for the Z4 on ice to next year. Want to go for multi piece wheels with nice and shiny lip next time.

Hey mate, nice looking car man, but boy I miss those rims you originally had on there. They looked awesome! Did you sell them? What were the specs on those puppies? Very nice coupe mate, I also love what you've done with the roof, looking at that myself. How are you finding it holding up.?
Great job on the car mate, very nice setup.

Thanks
Which ones do you mean? The OEM 135's or the Breyton Vision's?
Both are sold. The 135's I changed for some parts and the Breyton's followed my old E46 when I sold it.
The wrapping is holding up very nicely.

Just remember that I got the offset modded to 34/41 on my wheels. Got it done locally.

Thanks The 17" track wheels was sold long time ago after I found out that the 19s with Michelin PSS were good enough for me on the track.

Started as a little refurbish project. Bought a very cheap set from an acquaintance of me. The result was not that bad. Used only cheap spray cans.

Before:

After:

The mirrors only needs to be polished and mounted on the car. The car is still at storage.
I dont know what to do next. I really want some new wheels, but Im looking for a new house (with garage) so maybe the modding has come to an end...

Love your roof too mate, write up on that when you get some time buddy
