z4 e85 tire Retrofitting(for advice)
The part number of my z4 rim is 36116758191(8JX17 ET:47). The original tire is 225/45/17.My question is may I change the rear tire to 235/45/17 or 245/40/17 with the same rim? Which choice is the best if it is possible? Thanks

Yes you can. Keep in mind changing size changes speedometer readings and is one of the reasons I usually move up at least one size in the rear in order to make speed readings more accurate. You could consider rear sizes from 235/45-17 up to 255/40-17 on the stock wheels.
