What fuse is for the headlight washers?
I have a 2007 with headlight washers and want to disable them since the other day all it did was soak the entire hood of my clean car with fluid. I looked at the card in the the fuse panel and it showed symbols that looked like headlight washer and windshield washer with fuse number 13, 38 & 40. I pulled 13 which took away steering wheel controls. I now have 38 out and I'll see what that does. If someone knows for sure, please post the fuse number. I just hope that this fuse doesn't effect any other operations except the headlight washers.

Should be Fuse # 40 -- see chart below...
I'll be disabling mine as well just as soon as the dealer gets around to replacing my missing headlight washer cap (but that's another story). |

Easier alternative,
pop the hood, In the headlight washer tank you will see 2 pumps plugged in, The one closest the front bumper/radiator is the one for the headlight jets, Just unplug it, No error messages on the dash and its easier to get to than the fuse option, thats what I did on mine, Hate those little things

EricMCoupe- Thanks for the fuse chart, that should come in handy. I printed it out and will keep it in the closebox, I think it might even fit in there

Water pressure raises the jets, just like pop-up lawn sprinklers.
Either unplugging the pump or removing the fuse will stop them.

It only sprays them every 5 or so times that you use the windshield washer.
Try some more. Then be sorry you did when they break

Ill try some more, my regular windshield pump is screwed too... Ill try the fuse on that one too. But I feel like the problem is a little deeper than a little fuse.

Pumps going out is a common problem.
Usual symptom is a puddle under the car. Cheap and easy to replace.
