Add power outlet in storage compartment
Anyone done this before? I wold like to add a power outlet in the centre storage compartment so that I can plug in cameras, phones, etc and keep them concealed while they charge.
If it matters, I have an '08 Z4. Thanks |

Bump.
Did you ever try this? I'm considering it also... suppose the safe way is to run a wire from the cigarette lighter. |

Ron Stygar once did this, I recall seeing a write-up.

Found it. I keep forgetting the battery is in the trunk. Make this easier vs going to the fusebox/or existing cigar lighter.
