My new custom cluster :)
Hey guys, so i modified my cluster and an M cluster that i bought for cheap, having my freind at Freescale modify the electronics so its adapted to my car and everything will work, having both M tech and tech from my automatic i blended the two together, notice the auto gear changer in the middle...
i had also taken the silver bezels off my standard non-M cluster and adapted them to the M bezels so they have a nice silver border around the tack and speedo....... gives a little more detail to the cluster.... i know its not for everyone but i like it what are your thoughts..... im just happy to have white guages now.. also speed and tack will work with my car thoug i will never hit the max on the speedo or tack all information will be correct. also talking to one of the suppliers we use to make me a one off guage face for the right tack to get the oil temp turned back to engine temp, not a hard fix but a small detail.... All done! Last edited by -c-; 04-30-2012 at 12:07 AM.. |

Yea I know I know I may have gone to far with this one ..... But what else am I to do all stuffed up inside for winter ....... If all goes according to plan the gauge faces I'll have done custom so they better match the proper RPM .... Thoug since the car is an auto it doesn't matter to much where if it where a stick shift that be another matter all together. It's going to cost a bit to have the gauge cluster reworked but should be pretty hot when done ......

nope since im using all my own guts, its funny what happens when you throw a project like this to people that do this stuff for a living they can do anything, its crazy~
as for a sin yea i know, but what the hell, no worse than BMW throwing the badge everywhere, now their will never be the M on the car itself but a few M bits here and their wont hurt, |
