I take way too much heat over this car around work. Here's my response;
No Kids = Expensive Car, Exclusive Golf Membership Failing that, I tell em my Wife bought it for me as a token of her undying commitment to our relationship

I originally got a 335i Coupe but i wanted the M Coupe and after two weeks with the 335 my girlfriend said this, and i quote:
her: why didn't you get the M Coupe? You know that's what you really wanted. me: mehhh, i know but i wasn't sure that i could live with only two seats. her: huh? you know that when the kids come I'll be the one swapping my sports car for a family car. me: repeat that! her: yeah, we could get something big enough to tow a trailler for when you take your bike to the track too so I don't have to put all that sh!te in my car anymore and we can all go as a family. and before anyone tells me that this will change and that none of it will stick once we have kids... think again, she really digs "being my chick" at the track so when i came home with the M Coupe she simply said: "I knew it wouldn't be long" with a big smile.
