The Harbor Freight trailer is perfect. It's perfectly balanced with the wheels, jugs and tools. I can barely feel I am pulling it at 120km/h.
And my custom hitch works pretty well too. I love my setup, the tire rack could be an inch larger but tires fit really tight right now. And I love the pickup truck box in the rear. I can put all my tools, jack and use it has a table also during lunch time! With everything on the trailer, the whole assembly might weight around 550-600lbs. But it's so well balanced that there is no a lot of tongue weight, 50lbs MAX, maybe less. The rear suspension doesn't even compress when I drop the trailer on the hitch ball. I really encourage you guys to build your own trailer and hitch. It's so practical when you go to the track. And everything stay on the trailer and is ready for next event. |

Any detailed picks of the hitch? That is the same set-up I have for my track car. It ensures that I don't carry more crap than I need.

Here is a small video of a Time Attack event at my local track. It was my first event with that car, kinda learn the limit of the grip with that short wheel base car. Note to myself: a Time Attack isn't the best event to learn a new car
