Z4M Coupe @ The Ring Apr 2012
Took the Z4MC out to the ring last week for a 4 day blast of the famous northern loop in Germany.
Was quite pleased to see a few modded Coupes fully caged which gave me some ideas for next year. WIll upload a few pics later, but for now below is a video of one of my laps. Being the first TF event in the year, it was pretty busy with no real clear sessions - anyway, below is a link to one of my laps.... |

great video dude and smooth/impressive driving. What kind of mods do you have on your M coupe? Looks like the guys driving the other BMWs were the ones holding you up the most, like those 2 M3s. Lol BMW drivers are douches. Ah the S45 sounds so mechanical, need a touch of soul.

Bad ass! I don't how many times you've been, but at the 3 minute mark when you dropped the F bomb because that E36 got in the way, that crazy ass turn messed me up and I went over the curbing a couple times. Wish I had someone in front of me slowing me down. Anyways it kind of sucks as I picked up my moupe after I got back to the states, but when I was there I took my 135, Mini and C30 several times. Thanks for the memories and video!

Thanks for the comments. Had to edit the red mist F** comments out... i've done a fair few laps over the past 4 years but still got lots to learn...
The car has had a few mods but was actually down on power due a loose wire mesh inside my gruppe M induction box which caused a few hesitations during acceleration (probably not detectable from this vid). Anyway that's all fixed now, so bring on the next trip.. Mods on the car are: Intrax coilover suspension, strong strut brace, light weight Forgestar wheels on 18" R888's, Recaro PP seats, Supersprint headers, 100 cell cats and H&S back box, AP's all round with pagid RS29 pads, APR frong splitter with ACS rear spoiler...oh gruppe m induction kit with evolve remap.... Next on the list is a half cage, maybe APEX rear wing then S/C (although i'm concerned about overheating with heavy track use..)..... Below is a pic of the car as it is now... |

Pics of the caged coupes if you have any. Plenty of great tracks on northeast coast...rumor had it they are also planning on building an exact replica of the ring in Vegas! |

What was your time? I think its been ran at 8:12. Looks like with the yellows and blockage you would be damn close. Of course 8:12 was done on stock everything plus Conti's. Sounds scary.
Good driving there. I would have shit myself in either seat going that fast.

Love it. I've clocked countless hours on the Ring with my Z4MC in GT5 and know it like the back of my hand. Would love to do it IRL.
But you cut out the part I was looking forward to! What was your top speed on Dottinger Hohe?
