FS - TRMotorsport MT1 w/General Exclaim UHP - NEW PICS - $1000 OBO
!!!SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD!!! UPDATED WITH NEW PICS (2.01.09) Nearly new, probably 6k miles max. 18"x8.5" ET44 @ 18.5lbs/ea Tires are General Exclaim UHP 225/40/18 My Z4 was totaled a few months ago and these have just been sitting in my parking garage and recently I was forced to move them to my apartment balcony and I need to get rid of them so my wife will leave me alone.. hehe. This set-up Cost me about $1600.00 when new and will include the lug bolts and BMW center caps when sold. These are great wheels, and look really fantastic on the Z. They are also a spot-on match for sparkling graphite metallic. Anything that looks like a scratch (other than the scuff on the lip) isn't... These have been sitting around for months and just need a bath. Local pickup only. Wheel 1 Wheel 2 Wheel 3 Wheel 4 Wheel 4 Scratches: As you can see this is a very superficial scratch.. I'd consider it a scuff more than anything as there is very little metal damage. Probably happened while driving my car into an automatic car wash. its only around the very outside of the lip.. Probably 1/8" wide and it goes around about a quarter of the perimeter. Last edited by Feyd; 03-10-2009 at 09:10 AM.. |

just curious why you didn't go with a staggered setup? if they were, i'd consider taking these off your hand...

they don't "technically" offer a staggered setup on these for the Z4... although if you order the set that's sized for the M's (9.5" rear) you can probably run it assuming you don't go much wider than a 245 tire. otherwise you might rub.
I also had considered just running some 245/255 tires on rears (on the 8.5" wheels), but in the end i decided that I wanted to be able to rotate them + its only a 2.5, so i wanted a little less unsprung weight for a hopefully slightly faster accelleration... so, that's where i ended up. |

thanks....
and i totally agree with you. i was sceptical about how they would look, but in the end they actually look really really good. In my opinion, the pictures don't do these any justice at all... someone buy soon please! I've got to get going on the new car. |

Buy My Wheels!!!!
Okay... I still have these and MUST get rid of them by early next week. I was going to keep them and use them for track wheels or something, but my a$$hole apartment managment company is telling me I must remove them in 5 days or they will remove them and "dispose" of them. SO... since I don't have time to deal with this isht I'll bring the pricing down a bit more in an effort to get rid of them.
I paid $1600 for them and they are worth ever bit of $1200... For the moment I'll call it $1100 OBO. No low-balling please, I'll throw them away before I sell them for $300.00 just on principal. |

No, it's not really... because you have no idea what you are talking about.
(screen grab from Tirerack for the same wheels and tires) As you can see the actual price for these wheels and tires is/was right at $1600 (as claimed). With perhaps perhaps only 6k miles on a tire that carries a 380 treadwear grade + the fact that at the time of the wheels and tired being removed from my car they had only been installed for a few months means that the $1200.00 that I was projecting they were worth at the time was fair as far as depreciation goes. I will agree that the fact that one of the wheels has a slight scuff in it is a bit more of a detractor thus the asking my asking price was dropped more than appropriately to $1000.00 OBO. Your opinions aren't useful because you clearly aren't interested in what I'm trying to sell. Your opinions aren't useful because you obviously are uneducated on what I am trying to sell. Your opinions aren't useful because all you are trying to accomplish is to discredit me and what I'm trying to do. I'm sorry your mommy and daddy didn't hug you enough when you were young. Please go be a troll on someone else's thread. |

Right, if you were actually intelligent you would see that you're charging way too much, which is why no one has bought them. I don't think anyone really considers your tires worth anything.
Add to that the scuffed wheel and that no one in their right mind would by your used stuff for close to the same price they could buy them new and you might understand. But I don't think you'll ever understand. Good luck with the sale.
