Yup, that was me on campus, in 47000 miles the car has never seen track though... YET, but i am really wanting to take it out... when i finish this final year of school and have more time on my hands I'll definitely give it a go.

If the 19s work i don't see any reason why the 18s would not. They are still the same width and offset.
F: 8.5" wide ET:29 R: 9.5" wide ET:23 As for weight BMWs "claimed" numbers, the 18s are: F: 11.05 kg (24.36 lbs) R: 11.75 kg (25.90 lbs) The 19s claimed weight: F: 10.7 kg (23.59 lbs) R: 11.4 kg (25.13 lbs) As a point of reference our stock rims claimed weight for cars built until 12/07: F: 12.15 kg (26.79 lbs) R: 13.65 kg (30.09 lbs) Cars built after 12/07: F: 12.0 kg (26.46 lbs) R: 13.3 kg (29.32 lbs) Again, these are the "official" numbers according to BMW, and real life weight might be slightly different, but it still gives you a good reference. Dude you have got to get that car on the track! It is like having a GF and not sleeping with her. Yeah they are nice to look at and fool around with but the real fun is in the sack. I have tracked this car since the day I got it and I now pity that I did not track my last BMW. I wasted all that time I could have been on track getting better. I am sure you can find a wednesday night to head down to Cayuga and drop $60 on some lapping.

Stock wheels are mid 20lb range. 18's are better for the track in my opinion. More tire options, less weight, lower cost, faster car. |

I'm rolling 235/45/17 in the rear..I'm going to move my 235 to the front and put the 255s on the back any problems..I'm hoping not, these came off my my old e34 5'r and these tires are so new they still have the factory markings on them...
