Not surprising, bulk of the difference came in the Riverside/Talladega turn to braking zone in Magic Mountain. What's surprising is the gap decreasing for Sunset, I would think aero would have a huge effect there too since it's not exactly a slow corner.
But 3+ seconds? Damn.

Impressive. Those look like slicks you're running. What size did you end up with? Continentals?

I know why I lost time before sunset. I was understeering a little bit.....I removed my rear sway bars few months ago to cure my oversteer, and I balance it out with new springs....i kept the 500/550. So after putting aero, since I have more grip, the front inside tire was lifting before apex, causing underseer. I was having a lot of understeer in sweeper so I had to be reduce the exit speed to make the turn....from there, due to the drag, the "non aero" started to catch up......sunset was a corner that I also did slow due to under steer. There is also a factor that its my very first time driving a car with aero, so it took me quite a lot of time to get the hang of it, and I still didnt get it....few turns i would feel like the DSC was on....the back would get loose, but the car would correct itself, so at times I wasnt sure if I had to counter or not, which made me be on the safe side. I know that if I get used to the "new car" and if the weather is around 70s, im pretty sure a sub 1:50 will be possible. My first hot lap of the day was 1:56 lol.....from there I started to lower second by second. Even if my aero was working, this day wouldnt be a fair comparison, as my times were lowering every lap. So once I get used to my car, I will do a proper comparison. PS.I just figure out why my wing is not working.....the shop had to make an adjustment in the mounting bracket, and when he put the module back on, he ended up flipping 180 degrees by mistake.....easy fix |

The reason he is understeering is because he turns and one of his wheels isn't touching the ground, LOL, no berm required.

I?m in love with the Z4m more than ever. Now I beleive the Wing is a must in the Z4m. Really complement well the car for looks and for performance. Feels like the car is complete now. Something I?ve been trying to achieve for a long time without a wing. I know some people are very oppose to wings, but I love it lol. Looks better than any e46 e92 or e36 with wing imo.
