New Use For "Liquid Electical Tape"
I know my actual application could have been smoother, but the results speak for themselves. I've ended up with a solid rubberized shock-proof coating. I went with white (as opposed to black) as I figured if there was any scuffing to occur, the white wouldn't be noticable on the OEM M wheels. Now I'm not worried at all about bouncing the end of the iron around the lug hole. I didn't coat the inside of the fitting, just the end and the outside.

There are several brands of "Plasti-Coat" type products used for coating/insulating tool handles. Blue, black, and red are common colors. Durability is generally excellent. Stop by you local hardware store, most will carry one or more type.

Just a question.... what happens when you get off?
Nice little application, I would have never thought about doing this!
