Nothing with Voltex yet. Still need to work out front splitter, too. This is all I've got for now

If you want to do some mock-up fitting/work out a splitter you can try out my apr cf splitter to get you a general idea of how it might look, might be a far drive to you, I live in SD or we can meet up in SoCal, but really i just wanna see your beautiful Z4M finally LOL. Your car is hands down my favorite Z4 tbh! Also would love to see your authenic volsex wing and how it would mount eventually to our weird trunks! I have a project in the works for some cf wing and tall 275mm stands!

I've been following this thread for awhile. All I can say is WOW...just beautiful. Perfect height, great mods and paint job...I'm quite jealous of your Hamann front bumper and Skyer spoiler. Have you considered wrapping the spoiler on your hardtop with carbon fiber?
Great job building your Z4

Right now I'm just a tad worried the Skyer spoiler won't fit with the Voltex wing :[ APR splitter was ordered and awaiting pick-up. All this is gonna get installed real soon! Couple pics, cause clicks deserve pics

It arrived and sat in storage for a very long time. Until today.
I couldn't be happier with how this all turned out. Perfect height, I love the way it slightly kicks back a bit, and the width was on the money. I was worried about having to take off the Skyer spoiler due to clearance but the Voltex base cleared by ~5mm or so. Voltex engineered this wing perfectly, I can open my trunk with about 1" clearance to the hardtop glass when fully open. The under-trunk clamshell support was also a perfect fit. A+ product. More pics to come, a couple excited iPhone pics for now: Next up - chassis mount splitter install, headlight restoration, possibly headlight & fog light film

Just a little photo dump to keep things moving
Picked up a set of Leon Hardiritt Ordens in OE 5x120 bolt pattern. Specs are weak at 18x8 ET19 / 18x9 ET19 but geez these things are FRESH. I've always been a fan of this wheel and saw the opportunity to purchase, so figured it will be fun to play with the Z a bit. I will try initially installing with spacers and if I dig them, I'll fine tune the fitment via re-building, seeing another .5-1" worth of lip. I'm always up for stepping out of the comfort zone and this really isn't something you see too often on bimmers, if ever on the Z4 platform (let alone ///M!). Pic of the uber cool center cap & one of the wheels as a whole. Photoshop of my V801 fitment but on Ordens. Haven't really seen this style done with a meaty performance fitment, but still not sure what direction I'll go yet. I'm most excited to try out another JDM wheel that I was yet to get my hands on, until now

Threw the Leon Hardiritt Orderns on and took some pics this past weekend, can't wait to edit the set later this week! Here are a few cell phone shots:
It still feels a little crazy to see these wheels on the Z4 lol. Ordens are typically seen on bigger bodied cars, often Japanese make VIP builds with air suspension, mega low offsets with excessively large lips (on the wheels), & stretched tires. In this case they've got squared off tires, the car is a small, 2 seat roadster that is low, but not bonkers low, and they are on a BMW lol. I do think the E85/E86 body really pulls off fat 5-spoke wheels well (Work Meisters are a CLASSIC on this platform), so the result with the Ordens is compelling.

Wow, it's really cool to see those wheels on tires that aren't super stretched, haha. SSR Formula Mesh would also be a cool JDM wheel I'd like to see on this platform...
By the way, did you ever get your Evolve tune sorted? I'm looking at buying their airbox, and need an Alpha N tune to go with it. |

My tune got mostly worked out but I wouldn't recommend them for Alpha-N. I think they had an issue that wouldn't allow you to be simultaneously on the gas and brake at the same time, or it would cut power. You can imagine the problems this would cause when heel-toeing! I'd definitely look around for this one.
