We have progress on my end for the foam prototype. Designer got the file made and is putting it in the mill today. Will update as it progresses.

Count me as a buyer, too.
I like the notched design like the M4 and the original BMW E86 carbon spoiler. The notches continue the lines on the roof panel, which continue the lines on the hood. It makes sense to keep them going on the spoiler too.

First prototyped that was produced on the foam machine had some issues with the milling and finishing. Currently having the designer re-mill it in a different fashion to avoid those issues. Will update once I have a physical copy for you guys.

I'm interested to see what it looks like on a coupe. I may be in depending on the prototype design.

this one was a once off spoiler... It was made by the first owner of the car... who also tried to sell them but didn't really get any interest...
I know the second owner of the car, when he received the car the spoiler wasn't on there anymore... apparently it broke.

This looks good, but I hope whoever is investing their time and money into this is aware that there's only a few hundred of these they can sell.
So while I applaud the effort, and when it's done I will likely buy one (depending on price). But realistically, you're going to lose money on this. Say, you charge $300 ea. Sell about 200 total for a conservative estimate. That's $60,000. Cost, factoring in the material, labor, R&D, etc, would probably run you about $8,000-$15,000 to make 200? Not trying to be a debbie downer. Just playing devil's advocate.

The only competition is the $150ish ebay/Tekcarbon one. There is room in the market at $300 and maybe even higher if it's really excellent quality.

I like the passion, I LOVE the amount of innovation that happens here because of lack of aftermarket support. Just don't get blinded by your passion, that is all.
