Seat belt Guides (no more neck burn)
I wanted to find a way to prevent the seat belts from digging into my neck. I remember seeing this guy's solution and wanted to find something similar. He had used rubber door stops. I wanted to find something a tad bit more subtle (less donut shaped).
I went to my local hardware store and ended up finding washers used for faucets. I secured them with sex bolts . The store did not have them in black, so for now I'm using silver. If you're not familiar with them, here's an example. Here's some shots on how it turned out. I might try to source a black sex bolt (insert giggles here) but I'm pretty happy with it for now. Total cost was $3.59.

Thanks!
Added one last pic of the washers together to give an idea of what they look like mounted inside the seat belt guide.

So far, it feels much better.
I normally wear collared shirts and tuck the seat belt under my collar so it's tolerable. But every now and then I'll be wearing a t-shirt it and becomes apparent that it's attempting to slowly decapitate me.

Thanks for posting, definitely stopping by the hardware store this week. Is there a technical name for "sex bolts"? Don't know how comfortable I feel walking up to someone and asking for sex bolts haha

They may also be known as "connector bolts", so you could try that first. If you get a blank stare you'll have to suck it up and ask the guy where he stores his sex bolts
If it were me, I'd load up this page on my cell phone and just point to the picture "show me where these are"

Were you able to find black sex bolts or did you end up with silver as well? Post pics! I've decided to leave both mine slightly more "open" so that my passengers don't needlessly wear out the belt. I slide mine into position when I'm wearing t-shirts.

I tried something very similar and found the seat belt retraction and tightness to be dangerously weak. They would get caught on the stoppers

That is a good point, you can't lower the stopper too much because it does retract slower.
I thought about finding a different bumper that's hard plastic instead, or shaping/coating these in some way to make them more slippery. If they were shaped like a U it might bind less too. That's it, gotta CNC some aluminum ones

I have faux sheepskin wraps. Belt sits against my neck, but it's nice and soft, so no burns.
Nice mod idea, though.

Silver only. Looks like what Beta posted. Tightened only enough that they're adjustible. Retraction is a bit slower, but snapping the belt quickly still seems to engage locking at the same rate as before.

But even when I open mine WAY up, so they don't seem to touch at all, they are in a position that has reduced the max travel by almost 2 full inches I have thought about trying to coat them in something slick that wouldn't cause as much friction to the belt.
