I have October 1st reserved too. October 1st will be infield only and we'll probably charge $299.
You could drive down on Sunday.

C'mon guys, I know we have quite a few So. Cal Z4/MZ4 Coupes on here. 3 years ago we had 6, count them, 6 MZ4 Coupes at this event.

Unfortunately CCA has some very strict requirements for convertibles to participate in our HPDEs. Auto cross on the other hand...

It's a nationwide policy set forth by BMW CCA National. We've argued multiple times to remove that exclusion but so far, no avail.

Rumor has it, racing legend Boris Said has tentatively agreed to come to our event.

By the way, our Chief Instructor just mentioned to me that the turns are labeled wrong on the configuration on the events page, so I'm replacing that map with this one instead.

$325! HPDE events in Seattle are $225 this year (BMWCCA & PCA). Why is it $325 at LA?

Throw $1,200 on there for insurance, $1,200 for corner workers, $2,000 for food, and you're already looking at at least $21,000. Divide that by 65, which is our usual average numbers of attendees (capped due to numbers of instructors available), you're looking at $323.07 per person to BREAK EVEN. We (Central California) just had an event at Buttonwillow and that's far cheaper to rent, and the prices for that event was a lot cheaper than what we need to charge for the L.A. event. Believe you me, the CCA is a 507 non-profit organization and every PENNY in income gets taxed up the wazzu. We're not in this to make money.
