Tire Pressure Monitor recommendations

I am refurbishing the 108's on mt 2007 Z4 Roadster 3.0si. The TPS dash light was on and when I separated the wheel and tire, I found one of the TPS's cracked in half. Mystery solved. All of the sensors are BMW. The others look pretty rough and I figure it's time to replace them. I track the car and I like the added safety of a working TPS system.

The OEM parts are significantly more expensive than some aftermarket brands like Bosch and Huf.

Do the aftermarket parts I mentioned (or others) have a good reputation for reliability?

I've had Huf in my aftermarket BBS wheels for more than 8 years and counting without issues. Works just like OE.

I used HUF in my other car (2016 F31) - just make sure the aftermarket part is the same length & frequency (via matching the OE number on the old items) to avoid fitment/connectivity issues.

I think I got all 4 for less than the cost of a BMW-supplied one.

In my view, this is one of those commodity items where I would not opt for oem.

UPDATE

Just to follow up, I went with the HUF sensors. The sensors did not need set by a tire shop. After driving it for a little bit, the light went out on its own. They seem to work just fine.

All the listed ones will work so long as it says no programming required. The sensors need not all be same brand. After HUF, I’d go with BH or Dorman. Never had good luck with the square shaped sensors but ymmv.

If depends what they mean by relearn. Universal ones need to be programmed by a device. But it could simply mean when with BMW specific ones, you need to initiate the TPMS reset function.

Or just code them out. I find them to be more of a nuisance than anything.

Rock Auto has the HUF sensors back in stock. I just ordered four and got a notice they have shipped. On close out and still just $15.00 each.
