Anyone knows about Porsche 962C's engine?
Hello to all dear 1addict members!
One of my friend in an automotive museum asked me a help. He is a seasoned Porsche mechanic, but he doesn't know much about Porsche 962C. Who would know something about a prototype race car? He said the engine is Andial 3.0 litre water-cooled with twin turbo chargers. He is looking for engine oil capacity and checking guage(?). How much engine oil required and can I check? Anyone? |

We already contacted Porsche, but we can get only spare part list. They don't have workshop manual or further specific information. It seems Porsche doesn't manufacture 962C's engine anymore. |

I recommend he get in contact with http://canepa.com/canepa-difference/motorsports/
They have 917s, 956s and 962s, which they restore/service/operate at the Monterey Historics, Rennsport, etc. Karl.
