OEM CSLs are MUCH more expensive, if I remember correctly they are about double and can only be purchased in Europe and shipped here. I think they are 4000$ a set or something of that nature + international S/H

Exactly. CSLs are the same manufacture, but the fronts are .5" wider. There's a reseller in GA that will get them from Europe for you, about $3600 a set. I bought mine used on eBay.uk for that amount with tires (Pirelli P-zeros), plus $600 shipping and $110 customs charges.

What is the differance? Will these fit??? My Mz4 M 07
E46 M3 Competition Package Wheel Set
These Original BMW wheels are identical in appearance to the CSL M3 Wheels. Sizes are 19” x 9.5” rear with a 27mm offset and 19” x 8” for the front with a 47mm offset. These are the exact same sizes and offsets as the optional 19" wheels so tire sizing is EASY (235-245/35/19 front and 275-285/30/19 rear). These weigh in at only 24LBS each for the front, 25.5 for the rear! These are the same wheels that come on the new E46 M3 with the competition package. These are new factory BMW wheels. Price includes two fronts and two rears. (Center caps not included, you can reuse the ones off your original wheels or order new ones below) Tires are not included with these wheels. Again, these are Original BMW Wheels, the same wheels that you can buy at your BMW dealer, the same wheels that come on the Competition Package M3. Applications: 2001-2005 M3 (E46) Part #: M3COMPWHEELS Price: $2,290.00 Sale Price: $1,876.80 Savings $413.20 |

Should I mention I just spent another couple hundred on tire pressure monitors from Tischher? Nah, I'd have had to do that no matter what.
Pretty much I went with my deal because 1) it offered the convenience of one-stop shopping and 2) I didn't learn about all the other options until after (of course). The extra cost doesn't sting a bit, because I do love the wheels. They're sitting in my living room right now, facing the sofa (where a tv would be if, you know, I owned a tv), where I can admire them. They also make a nice conversation piece for when dates come over. Girl: There are tires in your living room. Me: Nope, that's my art collection; it's a German/Italian serial work. |

There's one online reseller I've seen. I think it was 38-3900 for a set.
