Z4 Winter Driving in Pittsburgh
I'll be driving up to Pittsburgh from DC via 70W and 76W for the NHL Winter Classic this coming New Year's. My research on the forums indicates the Z4 is capable of driving through snow of up to 4" only. True? I see that Pitt has been getting accumulating snow already, with highs in the low 20s.
My Z4MC has Blizzak LM-25 snow tires on right now -- would I be crazy to consider driving to Pittsburgh and back in the wintertime? I'm guessing the city would be pretty good with keeping the roads clear, but I may be SOL in the rural areas. |

I've driven mine with no more problems than I have had with any other car. It all depends on the driver. If you are comfortable driving in snow and have the right tires on it (Sounds like you do) then you should be fine.
Enjoy Pittsburgh.
