Maintenance prior to HDPE

Other than changing the brake fluid (which I did last weekend), are there any other special maintenance items that need to be done before doing a 2-day HDPE? If the oil was changed 3-4 months ago, should this be done? My inspection I is due in December. Pads and rotors are only a month old so they should be fine.

Thanks for the input

Here's an inspection form that our local club uses.

The club here has a similar inspection form but this does not address my question re: whether I should change the oil prior to the HDPE and prior to it's next scheduled inspection. We've had nearly two months of 100-110 degree whether here this summer and it makes me glad that these cars use such heavy oil. I notice the oil temperatures being higher than normal when it gets this hot and I didn't know if that breaks down the viscosity moreso than normal. Just thought I'd ask to see if there were some oil experts who might have an opinion.

This is what I have been doing for the last 3 yrs and 10 mos of ownership and regular HPDEs -

- Bleed brakes before every event if on stock brakes
- Change the oil after 2-4 track days (HPDEs) or about 4000-4500 miles (if no HPDEs).
- Every 20K for rear diff fluid
- Every 40K for trans fluid

The last two are good whether you do HPDEs or not but important when you do.

Garage List
In addition to everything above, check your lugs are properly torqued down and check your tire pressure.
