Yelp Deal: Skip Barber Racing School
Did anyone else get a hold of the Yelp deal for the Skip Barber Formula Car Racing program (originally worth $699, but sold at $350)? I fought a guy for it and won a slot
Can't wait to book my session(s) |

Which program did you opt for? It's so expensive! I might just use the $699 credit towards a half-day Intro to Race session in their Formula Race Cars (as previously advertised). I really want to do the full-on experience but don't have $2k+ to throw right now. Especially not with SS section1, section2, and new rear tires just ordered/shipped and all =/

a buddy linked me the deal but by the time (less than a minute) I clicked on it, it was sold out! sigh... I too was really looking forward to drive that tiny formula race car. I am not sure if I will learn anything new from the this very intro class, but really wanted to beat that formula car :P

Also, I was extremely lucky to have gotten my hands on a redemption code. A local M3forum member posted up saying he was having buyer's remorse since he didn't think he was going to use the deal, so I PM'd him non-stop until he was willing to sell to me |

Really had a great time, but honestly most of the thrill was just being in their car, really pushing it to the limits. I don't think I've ever driven a car so well balanced before. In terms of training/instruction, you won't get that much out of it. But for the price you're paying, you can't go wrong... |

Yeeee. I'm going to try and flog the formula car as best I can
I opted for the additional insurance coverage anyhow, so I might as well put it to use |
