I'd just do the LC8i and control any tweaking with the 7 band graphics in the DSP. The LC8i is going to sum and flatten the response curve for you to the amps. If you needed more control of the subs, add a bass processor between your sub outs and amp, or get an amp that has some sub processing built in.
