Not mid point so much as consistent side to side but most alignment shops just go for anywhere in that range, racing teams are much more precise in their settings.
On the street the CSL specs wouldn't give you much, they might even make the car feel unpredictable.
At high speed the CSL specs come in to their own, an experienced track driver would use them to shorten lap times.
