Thanks very much for the reply. I think I will make that same modification as you did. I might try run extenders through the hole. Different brands of suspension seem to have different methods of adjustment, but your mod seems to make the most sense. If returning back to stock those plastic parts can likely be found cheaply.
Do you think extenders run through those would interfere with top operation?
