I think 'adaptive' driver skills would be more accurate as there are a lot of disabled drivers out there and it is not because they are paraplegics.

Similar adaptive controls have been around for decades. A classmate from the 1970's mother's car had something similar. Though the dual accelerator was certainly something I have not seen.
