The design and thought as well as other quality that's being brought to bear on this project makes it almost impossible to pass up. The stock removal causes me a bit of apprehension as well, but I thought the same about brake rotors and pads and fluid up to a few months ago and can now do that in my sleep. Looks like patience and good DIY are probably all that's required. I do miss the carbon fiber roof from my E92 (along with the S65, nothing else though), and this is a way to really make the car unique, special, look awesome, and improve the balance. I'll probably succumb shortly.
Like anything worth exploring, it just a few steps in the dark for the pioneers. For the rest who follow....its usually a breeze. All mistakes or learning curves are recorded, improved upon and the next players get a hall pass to cruise, lol.

No worries on the removal folks. The pix and DIY tutorial will put your minds at ease.
