Based on the attention to detail, and how thought out Dark Schnitzer has been with building this part. There is little doubt that he will provide a thorough DIY.

For sure...a layer of tape whether it masking or aluminum will add confidence and safety as one concentrates on slicing through the 1/4" or so of sealant.

Maybe even a thin piece of sheet metal to move along as a tool. Its all relative to doing an odd job really. To some...its easy, others a struggle.

Hopefully...a DIY with pix will even the field and raise confidence.
