Couple of reasons here >

1)- The roofs can see upwards of 250* saturated and that is way beyond the Home Depot products adhesive capabilities.

2)- I don't really want my signature attached to a KIT thats lacking in full on thought . I want my customers to be able to open the box...install with ease.....and drive !
