Worked fine for upshifting in old racing transmissions that had no sycnros. Worked fine for old trucks when shifting from granny low to first gear with out grinding........oh well.
I thought double clutching was mainly for rev matching without wearing out your tranny? Why would you need to do that in an upshift, or am I missing a crutial reason for double clutching?
