They have various Print on Demand centers around the world so it gets printed at the one closest to you. I ordered mine last Wednesday Dec 16 and today got an email that it was shipped. I was quite surprised as the order details indicated a ship date of Dec 27-31 and delivery Jan 11-17, so sooner then expected.
