Thanks for your added contribution. That makes a lot of sense. I honestly wish we as consumers can change the culture of car purchases and retain some of our power. These depreciating assets are becoming less important to me when i realized how even the men who build them don’t value them. I’ve vowed to never purchase a new car again. So, essentially what gives these cars value is if BMW can sell them legally. Since they’ve sustained damage of some sort, the value diminishes even though us as layman think the cars are unchanged, sitting on a lot with dust on them. I bet most can be up and running for a nominal fee. Wild stuff.
