If you look around the only reinforcement plates out there are for E46 BMW's. You will need to remove the alignment pin to get them to fit but they will in fact fit.
I installed a set for the same line of reasoning. These cars might not currently show susceptibility to strut tower deformity, but strut towers are always a potential weak point for any vehicle. $75 a pair to significantly reduce the chances of problems down the literal and figurative road was a no-brainer for me. I also installed ECS rear shock mount reinforcement plates at the same time when I installed my coilovers for the same reason.
