That's what I did, we moved down here from Phoenix (3.5 hours to the north), got out of the heat in the process. We're in the southeast corner of the state, just above the border, at 4920 ft altitude, between the old mining town of Bisbee and Sierra Vista, and 30 miles from Tombstone. It's beautiful down here and the weather is gorgeous. Housing & land are cheap, gasoline is cheap ($2.43/gallon for 76 regular nearby), property taxes cheap, etc. Love it here.
