I'm just getting started on a track build and will need hood vents. I like these type of vents. Lots of flexibility and doesn't require a new hood. Our hoods are aluminum, so there is no benefit to a carbon hood.

My thoughts for these vents is to mount two inside the crease and two outside. Long narrow type. Maybe 4" x 10". I would also prefer to put them on the underside of the hood if I can do a clean job of cutting the holes. I think it would look good if I could flip them upside down so the long side of the slates are pointing up.
