I currently live in Dallas, TX and will be visiting some family in Tucson, AZ for the holidays. I had originally planned to fly out but since I had plenty of time off and love road trips, I tossed around the idea of driving my truck. Lately I have been wanting to explore new/other tracks than the ones I frequent. I figured, hey Why not trailer my car out to Arizona over Xmas and hit some tracks out there. Unfortunately most tracks shut down around that time of year so I had to broaden my search radius.
I found that Chuckwalla Valley Raceway will be having an event Dec 28-29 hosted by STAR CarSports. Perfectly fits in my schedule. This will add 5 hours of driving west to my already 15 hour trek but hey, what the hell
My questions to y'all:
-Anyone in Tucson or near Chuckwalla want to meetup and chat about Z4s around Xmas?
-Is anyone attending this event?
-Has anyone ever driven Chuckwalla Valley Raceway? Opinions? Did you like? what didn't you like? Any hotels/gas/food near?
I'm really looking forward to this as I've never trailer my car to an event and hoping it all goes well. It will be my Xmas present to myself!
