After owning my Z4 for a little over two years finally upgraded from the stock style 106 turbine wheels to a set of Apex Arc-8s. I spent weeks on this forum reading about other people’s setups trying to figure out what to do. I think I nailed it. Here are a couple pics and the wheel specs for anyone looking for a new setup.

Wheels:

Apex ARC-8
Color: Anthracite
Size: Front=18x8.5j et38
Rear=18x9j et30

Tires:

Yokohama Advan Apex V601
Size: Front 235/40/18
Rear 255/35/18

Car has serious grip with the new setup. The lighter weight of the Apex wheels has also had a noticeable improvement on how the car rides, bumps are much less noticeable. I have noticed a bit of rub on my front fender liners, however I think it was a one time thing as it has not worsened since then.
