Took it apart the third time, really paid attention to the position of the spline gear, ensuring it is one tooth next to the position with the least possible rotation, paying attention to have the spline gear sitting just at the entry point of the exhaust hub when I tighten the vanos back on per Besian
Then really taking the time to time the motor, I have the OEM tool,
The first start was tougher than usual
Car was having hiccups, but eventually ran smooth once it is warm
P0017 came back, now accompanied by P1424, how did my MAF get affected I’ll never understand
And also 2F80, 2D06, besides 2AA5 from before also returned
This odd combo of codes is just overwhelming now.
