Wilwood calipers on Z4

I designed a custom bracket to fit Wilwood calipers in the rear for a non-M Z4.

These are for:

Wilwood 4piston calipers 120-13233 31.75mm pistons with 3.6lb springs installed and a Z4M rotor.

This is equivalent to the Z4M rear caliper of 46mm which when paired with a Z4M front Stoptech 355 kit (or basically any aftermarket front BBK) and Z4M master cylinder, gets you the same brake bias as a stock Z4M. NOTE: You will need to modify your parking brake pads (I have a write up somewhere on this forum). Basically, weld on a 2nd pair on top of the first pair to make up the gap.

If anyone wants to do the swap, let me know and I can get more of these made. The more I make, the cheaper each piece is. Right now, just two will run about $400 depending on how fast you want them (~350 for 3-4 week I believe).

Just for reference:
2x Z4M rotors = $360 (SHM rotors)
2x Wilwood calipers = $531
2x PFC 11 pads = $210
2x rear brake lines 24" = $80

For about $1200 you can upgrade your Z4 from the measily 294mm x 19mm to the Z4M 328mm x 20mm rotor and more options on calipers. There are quite a few wilwood calipers that fit this setup with different piston sizes allowing you to experiment with rear brake bias if you like.
