Have you tried posting on San Diego and Los Angeles BMW CCA Chapter's FB pages? It's likely to get some more targeted interest there. Those of us that are here likely already have a Z.
I'd extend as far as Golden Gate. All three chapters have fairly active members and whenever I show up at one of their events I always get someone asking if I'm selling.
I'm not.
