I really think they should've shown a simple cold temperature comparison instead of the packed snow to get the point across. Yes, winter tires make these cars driveable in the snow, but this doesn't point out the stupidity of driving on summer tires on cold payment well enough.

These 40-50°F mornings have me wishing I could make the swap midday. It takes a good 30+ min of normal-ish driving to heat up my tires enough to have sufficient traction, before that, I might as well put on some ice skates.
