The cable I bought from a forum member required me to solder two pins together.
When I talked to Chris@BMTechnic, he said he was modifying the supplied cable so it would work with both the 2003 and the 2008. I am going to assume there is difference and modifications are required.
I am at this moment, looking at the differences of the pinouts of the ODB-II connectors in the WDS.
