There are only 3 running 525 kits out there as we speak , and none of them are set up like my car with supersprint headers , and none have had issues yet.... . My pump had 20,000 miles on it , I had replaced the original stock one when I purchased the car used and started setting it up for the track . I just wanted to take the pump capacity out of the equation . the general consensus is over 550 HP is the limit for the stock pump , and I didn't want to have a marginal situation . With SS stepped headers my 525 should be 550.
