I'm glad your great-grandfather survived the POW camp! An awful lot of prisoners didn't, as a result of disease and the then-crude level of medical knowledge. Your comment reminds me that one of my ancestors was Capt. Bradley Dean of the Union army--I'll have to look him up and see what I can find.
