I've only been ticketed once since I started doing this on a regular basis, and that was a totally bogus ticket for a 40 in a 35.

Yeah, I was definitely excluding the folks who track the car. Maybe the sensation wears off after awhile but the sound of the engine as well as the thrust during acceleration as well as the feel of the brakes was very intoxicating to me! And BTW, I don't consider my 3.0i slow by any stretch but I now understand that the M is a different animal entirely.
