I agree with the above and if you aren't planning on removing the mods when you sell the car then you should plan on getting close to nothing extra for small mods(depending on what it is) and be happy with any extra that you happen to get. I would expect big mods, like a supercharger, will bring some additional over stock but no where close to what it costs.
You spend $1500 on wheels, then finding a person that likes them more than stock and is willing to pay significantly more for the car because of them is pretty difficult. Other issue is when the potential owner doesn't share your feelings on the mods so what you spent actually reduces what he thinks the car is worth.
